From humble beginnings to a lasting impact and wounderful stories.
Geolanda Community
high School was established by Madam Yei Vululleh in 2001 with the assistance
of Mr. George S.S. Wuo and the Christian Aid Ministries, Liberia.
The school was initially
known as Rescue Mission with the goal of providing quality education to the
children in the orphanage. It was later named Geolanda, an acronym of Georgia,
Lawrice and Darius, the three children of Mr. George S.S. Wuo and Madam Yei
Vululleh.
Parents in the
community embraced the school and enrolled their children in pursuit of the
best education at an affordable cost. The school now operates a full high
school.
